Membership

Member Responsibilities: Promote CFE in your workplace, attend meeting, trainings and conferences, promote membership and growth of chapter.

There are two categories of membership in the Philadelphia Area Chapter of Association of Certified Fraud Examiners: Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) membership and Associate membership. To become a certified fraud examiner, you must have the CFE designation and be a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). To become an Associate member, the only prerequisite is that you have a professional interest in the field of fraud examination.

Typical Chapter members include accountants, auditors, attorneys and prosecutors, managers and executives, academicians and anti-fraud consultants. Annual dues for each category of Chapter membership are $25 and $30 respectively and do not include Association of Certified Fraud Examiner membership dues. For more information regarding ACFE membership. Please visit the ACFE website or call the Association at (800) 245-3321.

The benefits of Chapter membership include:

  • Discounts on Chapter seminars, bi-monthly training meetings, and other events;

  • Access to our member-only library, consisting of fraud-related educational books and videos furnished by the ACFE;

  • The opportunity to earn continuing education credit at member rates;

  • Periodic issues of the Chapter newsletter, The Philadelphia Examiner;

  • Online access to the Chapter's Membership Directory and message board via the Members Only Area of the website; and

  • Excellent professional networking opportunities.

There is no better time to invest in your future by becoming a Chapter member. To apply for membership, complete the enclosed membership application today. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
