Chapter
Celebrates 10 Years
With the new
year rapidly approaching, The Philadelphia Area Chapter of Certified Fraud
Examiners is looking forward to a new year.
The Board of
Directors invites you to throw off the old and swing in the new!! For 2002,
the Chapter is calling on all members to attend more bi-monthly meetings,
volunteer, share and inspire as a speaker, new and pending members with tales
of your greatest hits, and to build your chapter through committee involvement.
Did you ever
think that the verbal reports to staff are the same as addressing the membership
at a training meeting? Your written reports on a case are the same as writing
an article for the Chapter newsletter. Describing your sports team or hobby
is educating and inviting participation in the your CFE Chapter. Share your
talents.
Contact
Harry Feldman, Chapter Training
Director. Tell him you want to be a speaker. Let us know what important work
your company does and your vital role. Contact
Robert Cohen or
Kathleen Walter. Tell us
about the article that you wrote for the newsletter. Contact
Kathleen Walter and express
your ideas on how to grow the chapter, recruit new members and promote becoming
a CFE within your organization. Contact Dave
Naser, recommend a student for the Chapter Scholarship. Contact
Daphne Rich, build the web site with
your technical expertise.
Encourage coworkers
to enhance their skills by attending the Chapter's two-day seminar in July
and the one-day seminar in December. In recognition of the importance of
the members and seminar participants in the Philadelphia area, the Association
of Certified Fraud Examiners has, under its redefined two-day seminar schedule,
retained Philadelphia as a key conference site. |
